Adrian J. PINNINGTON : born in London in 1955. Professor of English and Japanese Literature at Waseda University, Councilor of the Haiku International Association. He has written many essays and articles on English and Japanese Literature, including 'R. H. Blyth, 1886-1964'(1994).
