Yagi Ken Haiku Museum 14th Haiku Art Award

“Haiku Art”, which combines haiku and art, makes the content and worldview of haiku easier to understand and deeper. Also, by making it Haiku Art, you can enjoy displaying it, and you can feel closer to both haiku and art. More haiku, more art, more casual and fun!

Application requirements

1. Haiku section

Please download the application guidelines below, choose your favorite work from the nine pieces of art by Yagi Ken on page 2, and add a haiku.
Entry fee: 1,000 yen for a set of two haiku *You can apply as many sets as you like.

2. Haiku Art section

Create your own original work of art or haiku and include a haiku in the art. Art can be any genre, such as photography, paper cutting, watercolors, or objects. Photograph with a camera or scan with a printer and send it as digital data. Attach it to an email in jpg or png format or send it by mail. (No returns will be made)
Entry fee: 1,000 yen per work (free for students in the Haiku Art category only) *You can apply as many sets as you like.

Announcement of the results

Scheduled for late October 2026. The Grand Prize, Judges’ Special Selection, Excellent Works, and Selected Works will be decided.
