International Department of the Modern Haiku Association – Study Group “Haiku in Hawaii: Haiku by Japanese Immigrants and Modern Haiku Hawaii Chapter”

In Hawaii, haiku in Japanese have long been written among Japanese immigrants.

This time, the Study Group of International Department of the Modern Haiku Association invites Ms. Kaoru Nakamura, the new representative of the overseas chapter, and will talk about the current state of haiku in Hawaii as well as the activities of the Association’s Hawaii chapter, and will also have a forum for exchanging opinions (Anyone can participate, the talk session will be in Japanese).
