エヴァ・リンバックさんの句のオートルート・デュ・ソレイユは、オートルート A7 （Autoroute française A7、高速道路A7号線）の別名。フランスのリヨン‐マルセイユ間を走る高速道路。かつてこの高速道を走った若い時の曲をかけて、再びこの道を走っているという句です。
It is an autoroute (A 7), which the author drove many years ago (perhaps when she was young?). And in memory of that, she plays the songs of that time again as she drives along the A7 today.
ロバート・P・マーティンさんの句の「レッツダンス」は2006年に初放映されたダンスの勝ち抜き戦のテレビ番組です。手術を前に、一緒にテレビを見ながらちゃんと歩けたときの思い出作り、あるいはお母様はダンスがお好きなのかも知れません。
They watch the TV-show because the next day is the surgery. Maybe that's how they want to remember when the mother could still walk well. Maybe she also used to dance?
エレノア・ニコレーさんの句は、来るかも知れない、来ないかも知れないもう一人分の席を用意しています。皿を人数分より一枚多く並べました。来るのか、来ないのか、何か家族の間でトラブルがあったのか、具合でも悪いのかと読者は様々な想像を楽しみます。
One more plate is set for someone in the family ... who may or may not come. Maybe there was a family quarrel, or the person is ill? Readers can make these reflections themselves.
